Cartwright & Butler Christmas Hampers

When we were approached by Cartwright & Butler for support with a backlog of packaging artwork for their 2026 Christmas range, the design team were VERY excited about the opportunity to collaborate with such a well-established brand. With several years of combined experience in artwork and packaging quality control, we were confident in our ability to deliver the work to a high standard and within the required short timeframe.
This project required us to draw upon our skills and previous industry knowledge and involved creating and updating a selection of Christmas Hamper packaging. Each artwork needed detailed updates in line with the latest product specifications, so working from existing artwork and supplied product specification sheets; we carefully updated the content while maintaining the established layouts, typography and visual consistency across the full range. We also ensured key technical requirements were followed, including checking product codes text formatting.

Our Results
The team worked efficiently to successfully deliver the range of artworks to the client within a very tight deadline, balancing speed with the high level of accuracy needed for technical packaging information. Once complete, we supplied both the working files and high-resolution print-ready PDFs, allowing the client's internal technical team to carry out their own quality checks before the artwork went to print.
The result was a consistent, professionally prepared suite of hamper packaging artworks, completed to the client's requirements and ready for the next stage of production.

Objectives:
- Followed detailed instructions from the client to ensure all artwork met the required specifications.
- Adhered to strict brand guidelines when developing new artwork for a seasonal product launch, maintaining consistency and accuracy across all deliverables.
- Delivered all artwork within a tight one-week turnaround to meet client requirements and printer deadlines.
- Conducted thorough quality control checks across all artwork, cross-referencing multiple source documents to ensure the accuracy of all product details, particularly allergen information.
Completion:
Successfully completed 8 large-scale artworks: X1 label, X1 sleeve and X6 large booklets.
