After working at Hull and East Yorkshire Mind in my first ‘proper job’ after Uni 17 years ago, I’m incredibly proud to announce I’ll be joining the board of Trustees at the charity!
I learnt so much whilst I was there about mental health, but nothing could have prepared me the suicide of my good friend. To combine this with the struggles of other friends and family, struggling myself with the transition to parenthood… I really do feel mental health is an area of life that effects us all.
If there’s anything I can do to help the charity reach more people, then that’s job done for me.
They’re already doing some incredible work over there, so I’m so happy to be joining Kate Carroll, Simon Ford, Fay Treloar, Rod and the rest of the Trustees to support Emma Dallimore and the amazing team over at Hull and East Yorkshire Mind.
Here’s what Hull and East Yorkshire Mind had to say:
“After beginning his marketing career with Hull and East Yorkshire Mind in 2012, Nick transformed his passion and expertise into building one of the region’s leading marketing agencies. Starting from his back bedroom, he now leads an award-winning team of 12 professionals.
With 20 years of experience spanning marketing, digital strategy, social media, and search engine optimisation, Nick brings a wealth of knowledge and innovation to the field.
His time at Hull and East Yorkshire Mind, combined with the personal loss of a close friend to suicide, Nick has a passion to improve mental health services for local communities.”
